Greenburgh Election Results: Beville, Brathwaite, Oliver, Rivera Take Democratic Primary

Candidates are determined for Greenburgh Town Justice and Town Clerk.

 

Incumbent Judith Beville took Tuesday's Democratic primary for Greenburgh Town Clerk by a wide—62 to 38 percent—margin over Sherron Fantauzzi.

With 84 percent of precincts reporting results on Wednesday morning, candidates for Town Justice were also determined.

Results for Democrats are as follows:

  • DELORES BRATHWAITE:

Votes: 1,826   Percent: 20

  • SANDRA A FORSTER    

Votes: 1,329   Percent: 14

  • DORIS T FRIEDMAN     

Votes: 1,312    Percent: 14

  • ARLENE G OLIVER       

Votes: 1,684    Percent: 18

  • WALTER RIVERA          

Votes: 1,583    Percent: 17

  • BONNIE L ORDEN        

Votes: 1,461    Percent: 16

The general election for Greenburgh Town Clerk and Town Justice is on Nov. 8.

Minor correction--although the Republicans are not running candidates for Judge or Clerk, other parties are running candidates for these positions against the Democratic nominees.
