After a long-term investigation by a 19-year-old Bryan T. Fuentes was arrested for abusing a victim under the age of 17, police said.

The alleged incidents of abuse took place over three months—between late 2011 and early 2012. The victim is female.

Fuentes was charged with:

  • Four counts of sexual misconduct.
  • One count of endangering the welfare of a child.
  • One count of obscenity in the third degree.

All charges are Class-A misdemeanors.

Fuentes was taken into custody by Hastings police on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at about 11:50 a.m. based on a warrant assigned by Village Justice Joseph DiSalvo.

He was arraigned Wednesday night and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla on $2,500 bail.

"This is a very sensitive case," said Hastings' Lt. David Dosin. "No more information—or a mug shot—is available at this time in order to protect the young victim. These are allegations of serious offenses."
