Hastings Police Investigate Armed Robbery; Electronics Taken

Last night a Warburton Avenue man was held up on his front steps.

The victim, 22, was walking home carrying bags of electronic equipment when, at about 7:33 p.m., he was accosted by a man in baggy pants wearing a ski mask.

The masked man pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the property he was carrying, which included a Nintendo Game System, iPod and Miscellaneous X BOX accessories, police said.

"The victim relinquished the equipment and fled to a nearby bar where he asked that the police be called," said Lt. David Dosin.
