Hastings Republicans Announce Nominating Caucus for March Village Elections
Two seats are up for re-elections, and the Hastings Republicans hope to fill them with members of their party.
The following is an announcement from Hastings Republican Committee Chair Timothy Hays:
The Hastings Republican Committee today announced details of its 2012 Nominating Caucus for Village elections to be held on March 20, 2012.
The GOP Committee also has scheduled its 2012 Nominating Caucus for Village Trustee for Tuesdayy, January 31, 2012, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the James Harmon Community Center on Main Street.
All registered Republicans residing in Hastings may attend and vote in this caucus, which will nominate two candidates for Village Trustee in the March 20 Village election.
At present, Hastings’ Board of Trustees consists of four Democrats. Two Trustee seats are up for election in March.
