Irvington Police Beat: Teens Busted for Pot, Fence Stop Pilfered

A rundown of Irvington PD's week.

 

Feb. 3:

  • Members of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task force came upon two teenagers in a 2003 Honda Civic smoking marijuana.  The 18-year-olds from Pauling and Teaneck, New Jersey were issued appearance tickets for unlawful possession of marijuana. They'll return to court on Feb. 27.
  • An accountant on North Broadway's assistant called to report an angry customer demanding paperwork. The customer then came to headquarters to report the dispute. 

Feb. 5:

  • A Woodbrook Gardens resident reported that between Nov. 29 and Feb. 5 someone stole a package containing two iPhones, each worth $60. She said she hadn't known the package had been delivered but post office employees told her it was delivered on the 29th. 

Feb. 6:

  • At 8:35 a.m. a North Broadway resident reported that his wrought iron fence stop had been stolen. It's worth $40.
