Police Seek Suspects in Armed Robbery at Hastings Deli

Madaba Deli in Warburton was robbed at gunpoint late Saturday night.

Hastings police are searching for suspects in an armed robbery at late Saturday night, police said.

On Sunday, Dec. 4  at approximately 2:16 a.m., Hastings police received a call reporting that Madaba Deli at 582 Warburton Avenue had been robbed.  Police responded, securing the scene and searching the immediate area. Dobbs Ferry police assisted.

The two suspects fled out of the store before police arrived.

Employees described the robbers as one black male and one white male, both wearing dark clothing and hooded shirts.

Employees said the white man displayed a handgun during the robbery and both subjects were last seen heading north on Warburton Avenue.

Approximately $2000.00 was taken.
