The Mercy College men's basketball squad defeated host Nyack College 84-67 to earn its first win of the season Dec. 3.

Giddens get 1,000, Irvington wins tourney
Irvington's Marley Giddins scored her 1,000th-career point in the host Bulldogs' 61-30 triumph against Ardsley in the William Warnock Tournament Girls Basketball Championship game Dec. 3.
Dobbs Ferry lost to Blind Brook 44-43 in the consolation game on the same day.
Hastings' girls fell to Hendrick Hudson 46-16 in the championship game at the Westlake Holiday Classic Championship game.
The latter two games were played Dec. 3.
Dobbs Ferry boys win title
On the boys side at Irvington, Dobbs Ferry defeated Irvington 66-33 in the championship game.
Hasting's boys hoop squad lost to Westlake 52-48 in the Westlake Holiday Classic Championship game.
Each of the above games was played Dec. 3.
