Police Investigate Sexual Assault at Hastings Riverfront

The teenage victim said she was assaulted around 12:14 p.m. at MacEachron Waterfront Park.

Westchester County helicopters and police dogs assisted the Hastings-on-Hudson police in searching the waterfront area for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a teen Thursday afternoon. 

The female teenage victim reported that she was sexually assaulted around 12:12 p.m. at MacEachron Waterfront Park and was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Local law enforcement, including the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, got the call at 12:24 p.m. and responded to the area at 1 River St. near Harvest on Hudson restaurant. Police searched for the attacker, described as a Hispanic teenage male, to no avail.

Police said they are not releasing any further information at this time “due to the sensitive nature of this investigation and the fact that is it very active.”
