Flu Shots; the Junior League to Host an Open House; and the Hastings Village Board Meets

  • The Westchester County Department of Health will offer free flu shots to residents ages 9 and up on today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Westchester Community College in the science building ground floor student lounge on the Valhalla campus. Residents can register in advance for the flu clinic at www.health.ny.gov/Go2Clinic, but walk-ins are welcome, so if the appointments fill up, don’t worry.
  • The Junior League of Westchester-on-Hudson's Open House invites prospective new members to its open house, scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight. There will be social time from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:30pm. This is informational only - no pressure to join that night.
  • The Hasting village board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. inside village hall, located at 7 Maple Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. A copy of the agenda is available here.
  • The Dobbs Ferry Recreation Commission is scheduled to meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. inside village hall, located at 112 Main St. in Dobbs Ferry.
  • Look for the thermostat to hit 70, according to the National Weather Service.
