Hastings School Bond Vote Set for Today; Dobbs Ferry and Hastings Village Board Meetings Scheduled Tonight

  • Today is the vote  on the Hastings school district’s $8.1 million bond referendum. The bond money will be used to fund $8.6 million in repairs, replacements and upgrades proposed for the district’s three schools. Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the gym of the  high school, located at One Mount Hope Blvd.
  • The Dobbs Ferry village board is scheduled to meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. , with public portion of the agenda scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at village hall. Go here for the agenda. Village hall is located at 112 Main St.
  • The Hastings village board has a work session scheduled today at 7:30 p.m. village hall, located at 7 Maple Ave. Go here for the tonight’s agenda..
  • Universal Open House “Touring Tuesdays” for Catholic Schools of Central Westchester in the Archdiocese of New York Prospective families are invited to visit Catholic elementary schools in the Central Westchester County Region during Touring Tuesday, our universal open house day.Reservations are required for a tour at any of these Catholic schools on today, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., or by appointment.   • Temperatures are expected to in the mid 60s today, according to the National Weather Service.
