Patch wants to make your life a little bit easier. Here are a few things to keep in mind today in Hastings, Irvington and Dobbs Ferry:

1. The 14th Annual Dobbs Ferry Summer Music Series continues this evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with a performance by the Sean Smith Quartet. The concert is bringing the series back to the waterfront for the remainder of the summer tonight.

2. The Hastings Public Library is busting out the board games from 5:30 to 7 p.m. this evening for a Family Game Night. Pizza will be served.

3. Are you thinking about starting your own business? Business advisor Hope Heyman will be on-hand at the Greenburgh Public Library tonight offering tips from how to fund your business and background on the types of permits and licenses you'll need to get started. Details here.

4. Wednesday's high will hover around 76-degrees, with a possibility of scattered thunderstorms throughout the day. The UV index remains high, so don't forget to apply sunscreen if you're headed outdoors.

5. It's all about corn! The Hudson Valley's first-ever "CORNucopia" festival will take place at Philipsburg Manor over Labor Day weekend and will feature corn-inspired food, games, crafts and fun for all ages.
