HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER ‘PAWS FOR THE SEASON’ WITH BEST SELLING
AUTHOR AND HIS SERVICE DOG AT ECKERT FINE ART, MILLERTON, NY

Jane Eckert is pleased to host former Captain Luis Carlos Montalván, the author of the New York Times Best Seller, “Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him.” We are also happy to have the amazing Tuesday, his Service Dog, present as well.
The event will take place at the Eckert gallery on Saturday, December 1, 2012, from 3-7pm. Refreshments will be served. There is no admission fee.
Captain Montalván, a seventeen-year Veteran of the U.S. Army who served multiple combat tours in Iraq, was decorated with numerous awards including two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, the Army Commendation Medal for Valor and the Combat Action Badge.
Luis and Tuesday will be dedicating copies of “Until Tuesday” at the gallery.
Proceeds from the sales will go to Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD). In addition, Jane Eckert will contribute 20% of any purchases made from her collection to ECAD. All guests will receive a special Tuesday bookmark commemorating the occasion.
