A Memorial Celebration of the life and spirit of George Delmerico will take place on October 12, 2013, at 11:00 am at the American Legion Hall on Palisade St. in Dobbs Ferry. Friends are invited to join his family in sharing their love and remembrances of George amid his art and music.
Along with the Dobbs Ferry High School Class of 1963, the family has established a scholarship in George’s name to be presented to a Dobbs Ferry senior majoring in art. The recipient will be chosen based on need and talent. George himself received such a scholarship, and this recognition of his talent helped ignite his work at Pratt Institute and ultimately his career as a highly regarded designer and art director.
