The DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown Offers Couples Ultimate Valentine's Day Weekend Package

Couples will have more than one opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, thanks to an ultimate romantic weekend overnight package that the DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown is offering.

For just $209 per couple (plus hotel tax), the package includes a special three-course dinner at  Bistro Z, the acclaimed upscale modern bistro restaurant, featuring three courses of culinary delights created  by Executive Chef Frank Troiano. And in keeping with the romantic mood, a red rose will accompany the dinner.

The deluxe accommodations for a comfortable overnight stay include great amenities as well--flat screen TVs, free wireless internet access and complimentary coffee. Guests can also enjoy an indoor spa, sauna, fully equipped fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights. Parking is also complimentary.

The package is available not only on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14 but on Saturday and Sunday night as well, February 15 and 16.

The first course includes a choice of Sweet Potato & Lobster Chowder or Seasonal Greens, Savory Guava Empanada and Pomegranate Relish or Peruvian Shrimp Ceviche and Plantain Crisp or Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Truffled Napa Cabbage and Fois Gras Cream.

Entrée selections include:

 ·        Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail, Winter Squash & Potato Gratin, Asparagus, Baby Carrots

·        Herb Crusted Rack of Baby Lamb, Duck Fat Roasted Root Vegetables, Swiss Chard

·        Sea Scallops Gratin, Cauliflower Puree, Wild Mushroom Escarole, Lobster Reduction

·        Seared Hudson Valley Duck Breast, Pancetta Quinoa Pilaf, Glazed Quince

·        Fois Gras Stuffed Free Range Chicken Breast, Pecan Wild rice, Haricot Vert, Madiera Jus

The dinner concludes appropriately with a “For the Love of Chocolate” aphrodisiac extravaganza comprising warm chocolate lava cake, white chocolate ice cream and spiced sipping chocolate.
