Poll: Are Working Women Losing Ambition?

A survey conducted by 'More Magazine' indicates that woman may be less ambitious now than in 2001.

According to a survey conducted by More Magazine, American women report feeling less determined to climb the ranks of their professions than they did 10 years ago, USA Today reports.

Results showed that "43 percent of the women surveyed say they are less ambitious now than they were a decade ago. And only a quarter of the 500 women ages 35 to 60 say they're working toward their next promotion."

Three out of four women in the survey — 73 percent — said they would not apply for their boss' jobs. Almost two of five — 38 percent — reported "they didn't want to put up with the stress, office politics and responsibility that often go hand in hand with such positions."
