Continued Detours on Hastings' Warburton Avenue

The gas line work on Hastings-on-Hudson's Warburton Avenue will continue through Wednesday of this week, according to an update from the Police Department.

The Con Edison project, which began about three weeks ago, has limited parking and some driving along the downtown roadway.

In his latest update, Police Department Chief David M. Bloomer wrote the village has been told the work will continue through Wednesday, Sept. 11.

"Although this time-line has one again been delayed, the spokesman for the contractor reports, 'We are coming to the end.'"

Today, traffic is being diverted off Warburton Avenue near the Route 9 intersection onto North Street, as seen in the above photo.
