Great Gull Island Terns in the Breeding Colony and on the Wintering Grounds

The Hudson River Audubon Society of Westchester will sponsor a program by Helen Hayes; Chair, Great Gull Island Committee, American Museum of Natural History. Great Gull Island has the greatest concentration of Common Terns in the world and the greatest concentration of Roseate Terns in the western hemisphere. She will discuss them on Great Gull Island, and after their nesting season, follow both species to their wintering grounds in South America.
