Hastings Con Ed Work Will Extend Through Wednesday
Parking restrictions will be lifted on Warburton Avenue over Labor Day weekend.
The ongoing gas line work on Warburton Avenue in Hastings has been rerouting traffic and restricting parking for the past week in the village, but will take a break over the holiday weekend.
According to a notice on Hastings-on-Hudson's website, "Con Ed has advised us that they are making progress on Warburton Avenue...they anticipate that work will not be completed until Wednesday, September 4th, 2013."
There will be no work on the street Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and will resume on Tuesday after Labor Day.
"Parking will be allowed on Warburton Avenue during the days when no work is taking place," the Village announced.
