Hudson Line Service May be Suspended to Monday

Direct service from the Rivertowns to Manhattan will remain suspended throughout the weekend after yesterday's freight train derailment.

Metro North announced the following at 4:25 p.m. Friday:

Regular Hudson Line service remains suspended until further notice due to Thursday’s freight train derailment in the vicinity of Spuyten Duyvil station.

Limited Hudson Line service will operate between Poughkeepsie and Yonkers stations, including hourly service through this weekend (Sat., July 20 & Sun., July 21).

We expect to have regular Hudson Line service restored for the AM Peak on Monday, July 22, with possible delays.

Until then, customers are strongly recommended to make alternate service plans. See www.mta.info/mnr  for details. Please see http://bit.ly/9rsE8k for schedule.
