Meet Your Market Vendor: The Amazing Real Live Food Co.

A look at one of the new vendors at the Hastings Irvington and Dobbs Ferry farmers markets.

The Amazing Real Live Food Co. is a new vendor at the Hastings and Irvington farmers markets that offers fresh and aged cheeses and chocolate and vanilla ice cream, all enhanced with healthy probiotics.

Probiotics are healthful bacteria that aid digestion, boost the immune system, and prevent the growth of bad bacteria. The Amazing Real Live Cheese Co.'s options include: herbed farmer's cheese, queso blanco, chaseholm camembert, moonlight, gruyere, and stella vallis. They also sell Ronnybrook milk from a neighboring farm. The Food Co.'s cows are hormone-free and are raised on a 350- acre family farm in Pine Plain, NY—owned by childhood best friends Peter Destler and Rory Chase. 

Kombuhca, a fermented tea drink, will also be sold at the farmers markets.
