Today: Kids to Showcase Own Designs for Dobbs Ferry Gateway

The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Development at the Gateway, the major intersection in Dobbs Ferry where Broadway, Cedar Street, and Ashford Avenue meet, has long been the thorn in the side of local architects and village officials.

So, today, Wednesday, Dec. 18, local youth will try their luck with a public presentation,“A Beautiful Rivertown: Community Planning for Kids,” which will include models of their designs.

The event, a culmination of Curious-on-Hudson’s “ArchForKids” program, will be held at the organization’s headquarters at 145 Palisades at 5:30 p.m.
