Up to 10 Inches of Snow, Below Zero Temperatures

The National Weather Service says snow accumulation could be as much as 10 inches in Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Hastings-on-Hudson by Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Temperatures as expected to reach as low as 13 degrees below zero, with wind chills. Here is Tuesday night’s and Wednesday’s full forecast:

Tuesday night: Snow with widespread blowing snow before 3am, then widespread blowing snow and a chance of snow after 3am. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 7. Wind chill values as low as -13. Blustery, with a north wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Wednesday:
 Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 15. Wind chill values as low as -13. Northwest wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday Night:
 Mostly cloudy, with a low around 0. Wind chill values as low as -8. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
