Mercy Unveils New Athletic Field at Fall Festival

WHAT:            Mercy College is highly regarded for its rigorous academic programs, competitive Division II athletics and dedication to community service.  


With support of the Dobbs Ferry Village, the College is pleased to unveil the new state-of the-art athletic field in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the College’s Fall Festival.   The Fall Festival will provide entertainment for the entire campus community and nearby residents including carnival games, music and food.

WHO:             Please join Mercy College, the Village of Dobbs Ferry and the Dobbs Ferry School District on the unveiling of the new athletic turf field at Mercy College.

  • Founders Day Fall Festival begins at 12:00 PM



  • New Athletic Turf field unveiling and ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 PM



  • Varsity Football Game begins at 1:30 PM



  • Dobbs Ferry Eagles vs. Pawling Tigers



  • Founders Day Fall Festival concludes at 4:00 PM



WHERE:       The event will be held at Mercy College’s Dobbs Ferry Campus at 555 Broadway,
Dobbs Ferry, NY.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

WHY:            Mercy College is highly regarded for its rigorous academic programs, competitive Division II athletics and dedication to community service. For a large number of our students, it is also a place to pursue their athletic goals. To remain competitive among similar institutions and to provide a well-rounded college experience that includes athletics, the College continually improves its facilities.

The field will be available for the athletic teams including soccer, lacrosse, baseball, field hockey as well as intramural and club sports teams. The College is excited to work with community groups, schools and local organizations for upcoming sporting events.
