Willie Nile and the Subdude's Tommy Malone Perform

Via Irvington Town Hall Theater:

Mainstage presents an incredible evening of music: Willie Nile and the Subdude's Tommy Malone.

Willie Nile has been touring the world. The New York Times called him "one of the most gifted singer-songwriters to emerge from the New York scene in years." Willie Nile is a songwriters' songwriter and his live performances are legendary. He has toured across the U.S. opening for The Who at the personal request of the band and sang with Bruce Springsteen at Giant Stadium. Bruce recently joined Willie on stage in Asbury Park for Willie's song "Heaven Help the Lonely."

The Subdudes have sold out Irvington Town Hall for the last three years. The band is taking a break from touring, but Tommie Malone, the lead singer and guitarist can't sit still. So he's playing solo to sold out houses filled with 'dudes fans. On stage, standing front and center, Tommy Malone punctuates soulful, heart-felt vocals with guitar playing that is joyful, incendiary, and melancholic.
