In Photos: Highlights from RiverArts' Studio Tour

Artists from Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Ardsley open their doors.

Artists opened their studios for the annual  this weekend, talking to people about their work and their inspiration.

This is our photo gallery, showing a sample of the 65 artists who displayed their work.

Marcia, it was a pleasure meeting you and Allyson. I thought it was great that you got to talk with John Maggiotto about his work, and I was taken by your observation and the way you expressed it. That's what's so great about this event - the chance to talk to the artists and each other about their inspiration and what we take away. Thank you for your kind words.

Great coverage, Alison. And all that with one arm out of commission. Ina

Thank you for your kind words, Ina, and for introducing me to the artwork of Arlé. This is my second year photographing the Studio Tour for Patch, and each time I try to seek out artists I missed in previous shoots. In terms of art, our Rivertowns suffer from an embarrassment of riches.

Alison- You did a wonderful job capturing this special event that I work so hard to put together. Thanks for taking over the task of documenting it and for doing it so gracefully!
