The 8 Things You Cannot Do For Your Child

How do you "let go" of your child and provide independence at the right time and in the right way?

Michael Thompson, Ph.d will try to answer this question in a talk sponsored by Rivertown Parents and Elmwood Day Camp: "The Eight Things You Cannot Do For Your Child", Monday, October 22, 2012, at Dobbs Ferry High School from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.  Dr. Thompson, a clinical psychologist, is the author of "Raising Cain" and "Homesick and Happy".  

Developing independence in children is important; Dr. Thompson will share his strategies for promoting independence thoroughout childhood and adolescence.
