GARDENING COOP AT OLD SITE OF SPRAINBROOK? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!

HOW ABOUT AN ORGANIC GARDENING COOP ON THE SITE OF THE DEFUNCT SPRAINBROOK NURSERY?

Al Krautter, outgoing owner of Sprainbrook, reports that "On Tuesday November 27th we had a preliminary meeting of interested people who would like to preserve Sprainbrook as an organic center: 14 interested people met to explore a co-op idea that would fund and run Sprainbrook. The following Wednesday they met again. There were many creative ideas for a new business plan: brilliant minds filled with a strong passion for the organic movement. If this ambitious venture were to take place, it would require a profitable business plan, community support and investment funding. The Nursery would be set up as an organic center that would serve the organic community and the residents of Westchester for many years to come. Many in the community feel this is a worthwhile project to pursue."
