At the Land of Magic tourney at Daytona Beach on December 29th, Connecticut College won a close one over St. Marys of Indiana, 63-61, with Tara Gabelman of the Camels scoring 9 points on 3-8 and 3-4, plus having a game high of 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block in the matinee, while in the 64-59 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire Bluegolds the following morning, she once again had a double double, thanks to her 20 points, the result of 7-14 in buckets and 6-6 at the foul line, plus having 10 boards, another game high, and 1 assist and 1 steal. It was the 29th time in her college career to achieve a double-double in basketball. The team now has a record of 6-5.

At Maryland's Towson State on December 30th, the New Hampshire Wildcats lost a nip and tuck game, 73-64 with Jordon Bronner of the visitors scoring 12 points on 2 layups, 2 treys, and 2 foul points, with the record now 2-10 on the campaign.

At Las Vegas on December 28th, the Amherst women's basketball team topped the Vassar Brewers, 66-53, as Marley Giddins scored 9 points on 4-6 from the floor and 1-2 at the foul line. She had 4 defensive rebounds, plus 1 block and 1 steal in the contest. At Columbia on December 28th, the Lehigh Mountain Hawks bowed to the Lions, 87-80, with Lexi Martins of the visitors scoring 8 points on 2 treys and 2 foul points. She tied for team high with 6 rebounds, and had 3 assists and a steal in the game, with the record now 7-3.
