, located at the Midway shopping center on Central Avenue in Scarsdale, offers Free Crafts for Kids sessions every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These craft sessions provide an excellent way for kids to unleash their creativity and keep their minds active over the long hot summer. Every session has it's own special theme. Next week's theme is patriotic wreaths for the forth of July.

Monthly Package Deals at Pilates and More

Have you considered getting into Pilates but think it's too costly? Well, at of Dobbs Ferry, you can save on sessions with monthly package deals. A typical walk-in class is $25, however, if you sign up for six classes in advance you would pay $123--a savings of $27. Signing up for eight classes in advance costs $160--a savings of $40. For those who are new to pilates and want to see if it's something they're interested in before signing up, a free 30-minute private machine session is offered upon request.

Family Fondue Sundays at The Melting Pot
Every Sunday Afternoon, in White Plains offers Family Fondue Sundays from 12 noon-4 p.m. For just $28, parents can enjoy a three-course meal (salad, entrée and chocolate fondue) and kids under 14 can eat for just $16 (entrée and chocolate fondue).
