Students play gamelan angklung—a bronze orchestra from Bali, Indonesia, that includes four-toned metallophones, gongs, drums and flutes—creating simple patterns that interlock and combine to form large structures of great complexity and beauty.
This event is free and takes place in the Reisinger Concert Hall at Sarah Lawrence College.
