Harrison Council for the Arts presents “All Things Bright and Beautiful” photographs by Dobbs Ferry resident Inese Moore at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Avenue, December 2 to 28 with an opening reception December 8 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Ms. Moore will exhibit photographs depicting subjects in nature including landscapes, seascapes, birds, animals and flowers.
Ms. Moore was an Early Childhood Reading Specialist and upon retirement is pursuing her lifelong passion for photography. She is exploring the abundant parklands and wilderness of Westchester County, Dutchess County and the Coast of Maine to photograph the beauty which surrounds us and to interpret what she sees and share it in new and exciting ways. This summer, she spent a week at Maine Media Workshops in Rockport studying photography with renowned artists and teachers. She was selected for the Artist in Residence Program in Acadia National Park (October 2012) photographing the splendor of the park and teaching workshops to children.
Ms. Moore is a member of the Westchester Photography Society, the Sierra Photography Club of New York City, and the New York Botanical and Zoological Photographic Society. Through new friendships with the talented members of these clubs, she has learned the new technology of digital photography. She is also a member of the Deer Isle Artist’s Association of Maine and the River Arts Association. She has exhibited in the libraries, hospitals, and public buildings of New York City, Westchester, and Deer Isle, Maine.
