MEET AUTHOR, MARCELLA ROSEN, IN DOBBS FERRY ON SUNDAY JANUARY 12
Marcella Rosen will speak about her book, Tiny Dynamo, How One of the Smallest Countries is Producing Some of our Most Important Inventions. This program, sponsored by Sisterhood GHC and Men’s Club, is open to all free of charge. Refreshments will be served and books will be available for sale and signing, cash or check only. Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made online at www.g-h-c.org/brunch.
Marcella Rosen wrote Tiny Dynamo to further the mission of Untold News, the nonprofit she founded in 2010 to raise awareness of the innovative and life-altering work happening in Israel; humanitarian acts and inventions that are changing the world for the better. A challenger of the status quo, in 2002 she established the Campus Tolerance Foundation to create awareness of the bias present on college campuses. She was in 1992 the Founder and Chair of The Deciding Vote, an ad hoc group which got $3 million in free air time as it campaigned to get more women to vote. In her professional advertising life she was Director of Media Worldwide and Executive Vice President of NW Ayer Inc., then one of the world's biggest ad agencies.
