Hastings HS Senior Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Padric Sean Gallagher will be honored by his troop in Hastings-on-Hudson on November 30.

Hastings-on-Hudson Boy Scout Troop 2 will gather at James harmon Community Center November 30 to honor Padric Sean Gallagher as he advances to the Eagle Scout rank, according to an announcement on Patch

"Gallagher began his journey in Boy Scouts as a Tiger Cub in Pack 1 Hastings in June 2003. He graduated into the Boy Scouts in January 2007, joining Troop 24 Dobbs Ferry and later becoming one of the original scouts of the reactivated Troop 2 when it was re-chartered in 2008," according to announcement.

Gallagher is a Hastings High School senior.

For his Eagle Scout project, he repaired a public staircase from Hamilton Street to Prescott Street.
