This Patch guide identifies restaurants with special New Year’s Eve menus that still have tables available.

This guide identifies restaurants that are offering special New Year’s Eve menus and had tables available at the time of posting. Most are open to midnight and beyond on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2012 but check with the restaurant to be sure.

This year, New Year’s Eve falls on a Monday—the day of the week on which many of these restaurants are normally closed.

The prix-fixe, late-seating-time dinner costs shown below do not include tax, gratuity, and soft beverages unless indicated otherwise. Most restaurants have earlier seating at lower prices.

Armonk. Moderne Barn. 914-730-0001. www.modernebarn.com. Hors d’oeuvres, three-course, prix-fixe menu and midnight champagne toast. The appetizers include lobster bisque, salads, gnocchi, tuna loin, steamed mussels and foie gras tourchon. Entrées include roasted “Free Bird” chicken, day boat scallops, crispy duck breast, seafood risotto, 10-ounce filet mignon, grilled Mahi Mahi, and Berkshire pork chop. Desserts: cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, Linzer torte, an assortment of biscotti and ice cream. A DJ provides the music. Seating is offered from 8 to 11 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $105 per person.
 
Bedford. La Crémaillère. 914-234-9647. www.cremaillere.com.
Country French farm-to-table cuisine. Six-course prix-fixe dinner features special Reveillon de la Saint-Sylvestre menu. Background music. Wine cellar has 14,000 bottles. Last seating: 9:30 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $115 per person.

Chappaqua. Crabtree’s Kittle House. 914-666-8044. www.kittlehouse.com. Carriage atrium room. Arrive 9 to 9:30 p.m. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres to 10:30 p.m. Follow with Mexican buffet including shrimp, lobster salad, scallops, grouper, tacos, red snapper, chili rubbed filet mignon, and more. Mexican hot chocolate. Live Mariachi band and DJ playing spicy Latin dance music all night long. Prix-fixe cost: $135 per person.

Chappaqua. Crabtree’s Kittle House. 914-666-8044. www.kittlehouse.com. Main dining room. Five-course chef's tasting menu. Open bar, champagne toast at midnight, noisemakers, live music and dancing. Entrees include poached Norwegian halibut, red snapper with Nantucket Bay scallops, Wagyu beef tenderloin, and roast loin of New Zealand Cervena venison. Petits fours and coffee service included. Seatings at 9:30, 10 and 10:15 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $150 per person.

Cortlandt. Cortlandt Colonial. 914-739-3900. www.cortlandtcolonail.com. Open bar all evening and five-course dinner which includies sliced filet mignon, baked shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, and chicken marsala as course choices. Viennese table. Coffee, tea and pastries. DJ music by Ricardo Music Productions. Champagne toast at midnight. From 7 p.m. to 2 a.m with buffet breakfast at 1 a.m. Participants must be 21 or older. Prix-fixe cost: $110 per person.

Dobbs Ferry. Cedar Street Grill. 914-674-0706. www.cedarstreetgrillny.com. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner. Midnight champagne toast and party favors. Appetizers: potato and leek soup, roasted red beets, braised short rib ravioli, or Nantucket Bay scallops. Entrée choices: Pan-seared Chatham cod, linguini (with calamari, mussels, clams, and shrimp), roast chicken or prime rib. Desserts: banana and Nutella bread pudding or apple pie. Coffee, tea and soft drinks included in price. Prix-fixe cost: $58 per person. Music by Joe Rooney begins at 11 p.m. $25 cover charge for non-diners includes champagne toast and party favors.

Elmsford. Westchester Broadway Theatre. 914-592-2222. www.broadwaytheatre.com. An eight-hour-long party beginning at 6 p.m. will include a stage musical called Miracle on 34th Street, buffet appetizers, dinner, dancing after the show to the music of the Tuxedo Parc Orchestra (to 2 a.m.), an open bar, and a midnight champagne toast, at an all-inclusive price at $360 per couple. Tax and tip included in price. Free parking. Hastings on Hudson. Harvest-on-Hudson, 914-478-2800. www.harvest2000.com. 45-minute cocktail reception, and four-course dinner.
Entrée choices include eggplant parmigiano with garlicky broccoli rabe, red snapper with vegetable torte, Chatham cod, “Brodetto” (shrimp, clams, calamari, mussels and chef’s fish selection with tomato, garlic, white wine broth), strip steak, 42-ounce Porterhouse for two, and more. Open bar, live band, dancing, midnight champagne toast, and continental breakfast to go. 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Prix-fixe cost: $175 per person.

Hastings on Hudson. Maud’s. 914-478-2326. www.maudstavern.com. Decorated with hundreds of helium-filled balloons. Will serve its regular à la carte menu plus champagne on New Year's Eve. Main courses include baked brook trout stuffed with crabmeat at $22.50 and pan-seared maple barbecued salmon with grilled pineapple at $20.95. Specials include grilled marinated flank steak at $20.50 and a coconut shrimp appetizer at $8.50.

Hastings on Hudson. Rainwater Grill. 914-478-1147. www.rainwatergrill.com.  A three-course, prix-fixe dinner will be offered. Appetizers: pork belly sliders, seared sea scallops, meatballs in foie gras gravy, vegetable spring roll. Main courses: spare ribs, braised short rib, Surf and Turf, pickled fried chicken, sesame crusted tuna and seared sea scallops over risotto. Dessert: White chocolate. Prix-fixe cost: $50 per person.

Irvington. Chutney Masala Indian Bistro. 914-591-5500 or 646-645-9511. www.chutneymasala.com. Indian cuisine. Open premium bar. Buffet spread. Midnight champagne toast. DJ music, “bhangera” dancing and party favors. Prix-fixe cost: $65 per person. Group and family discounts. Purchase tickets in advance.

Irvington. MP Taverna. 914-231-7854. www.michaelosilakis.com/mp-taverna. Appetizers: meatballs, Greek salad, octopus, fried calamari, and Greek sausage. Entrées: Braised lamb shank and whole Mediterranean snapper. Sides: Roasted Fingerling potatoes, cherry tomatoes and olives; spinach and rice pilaf, French string beans, garlic and oil; roasted winter squash. Dessert: Baklava Napoleon, chocolate halva brownie, yogurt and seeds. Prix-fixe cost: $50 per person. The regular menu is also available.

Larchmont. Plates. 914-834-1244. www.platesonthepark.com. Unlimited bubbly. Appetizers: risotto, foie gras terrine, salad, manicotti or butternut squash soup. Cheese plate. Main courses: lamb, Vermont roast turkey, Wagyu steak, scallops or skate with shrimp, or Rigatoncino (Guinea hen, duck and wild boar ragu, Parmigiano Reggiano, wild mushrooms). Desserts from menu or chocolate cake, waffle sundae or coffee ice cream milkshake. Seating at 9:30 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $100 per person. A $60 per-person menu will be served all evening at the bar.

Mamaroneck. Club Car. 914-777-9300. www.clubcarny.com. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, Champagne toast and music. Appetizers: lamb and blue de brie lollipops, Alaskan king crab leg bisque and escargot and bone marrow en croute.  Entrées: pesto crusted arctic sea bass with lobster crushed potatoes, hazelnut crusted prime rib of veal, baked stuffed lobster with roasted sliced chateaubriand and wild mushroom ravioli with foie gras duck confit. Desserts: Baked Alaska, chocolate pot a creme and creme brulee. Seating starts at 9 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $95 per person.

Mohegan Lake. Piazza Roma. 914-528-0800. www.piazza-roma.com. Four-hour open bar. Champagne toast at midnight. Buffet appetizers. Three-course dinner including salad, choice of entrée and dessert buffet. DJ: Hudson River Entertainment. Hats and noisemakers. Prix-fixe cost: $79.95 person.

New Rochelle. Alvin & Friends. 914-654-6549. www.alvinandfriendsrestaurant.com. Four-course, prix-fixe dinner. Seating: 9 p.m. to midnight. Live music provided by the David Brandon Trio. Prix-fixe dinner cost: $125 per person.

New Rochelle. The Surf Club. 914-633-8221. www.thesurfclubofnewrochelle.com. Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. Dinner starts at 8:30 p.m. Open bar includes unlimited liquor, wine, domestic beer and soda. DJ music by Serg.

Peekskill. 12 Grapes. 914-737-6624. www.12grapes.com. Seating at 8:30 p.m. is sold out but tables are available at 5:30 or 6 p.m. for a special New Year's Eve a la carte menu; dinner is accompanied by a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

Peekskill. Gleason’s. 914-402-1950. www.gleasons-peekskill.com. Crazy Hat Party with prizes for best hats and worst hats. Complimentary cocktail toast at midnight. Regular dinnere menu plus specials.No cover charge.

Peekskill. Peekskill Brewery. 914-734-2337. www.thepeekskillbrewery.com. Derek Dempsey will bring in 2013 in the Tap Room (first floor) beginning at 10 p.m. A prix-fixe dinner will be offered in the Pub (second floor).

Pelham. Bistro Rollin. 914-633-0780. www.bistrorollin.com. Four-course dinner. Entrées include jumbo sea scallops, wild striped bass, Beef Wellington, 16-ounce veal chop and 1-1/2 pound Canadian lobster out of shell ($5 supplemental cost). Seating from 9 to 11 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $80 per person with glass of champagne or $105 per person with wine and glass of champagne. Music and ball drop at midnight.

Pleasantville. Iron Horse Grill. 914-741-0717. www.ironhorsegrill.com. Prix-fixe dinner. Appetizers include fillet of smoked salmon and prosciutto wrapped Haas avocado. Main courses include swordfish, Georges Bank cod with Peaky Toe crab, pomegranate basted breast of duck and Coriander crusted rack of lamb. Desserts include Mocha Dobos torte, blood orange-blackberry tart. American coffee or tea, included in price, served with chocolate truffles and pecan diamonds. Prix-fixe cost: $90 per person.

Sleepy Hollow. Moon River Grill. 914-909-5380. www.moonrivergrill.com. Items on the special New Year’s Eve dinner menu range from $29 for one-half baked chicken to $41 for Surf and Turf (lobster tail and filet). Entrée options also include lamb chops and a seafood medley (one-half lobster, shrimp, mussels over linguini in a red or white sauce). Price includes a choice of soup or salad, an appetizer (coconut shrimp, blue point oysters, vegetable Napoleon, or stuffed mushrooms) and a glass of champagne. Seating is available from 7 to 10 p.m. The regular dinner menu will not be offered.

South Salem. Le Chateau. 914-533-6631. www.lechateauny.com.  Four-course dinner. Appetizers include terrine of Hudson Valley duck foie gras, East Coast oysters on the half shell and half lobster stuffed with crabmeat. Entrées include roasted filet of beef, rack of lamb, salmon, pan seared jumbo shrimp, sauteed veal chop, and sauteed duck magret. Dessert: Sample plate or souffle (chocolate or Grand Marnier). Expresso or cappuccino included. Prix-fixe cost: $138 per person. Earlier seating is offered at $98 per person ($5 extra with half lobster appetizer and $8 extra for a souffle dessert).

Tarrytown. Equus at The Castle on the Hudson. 914-631-3646. www.castleonthehudson.com. A prix-fixe tasting dinner offers Yellowfin tuna tartlet or king crab as an appetizer, soup, fish (Langoustine and fluke together), lamb or sirloin as an entrée, and a choice of chocolate banana, caramel ice cream or chocolate fonde with ice cream and orange marmalade as dessert. Seating is from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Prix-fixe cost: $110 per person.

White Plains. Benjamin Steakhouse. 914-428-6868. www.benjaminsteakhouse.com. An a la carte dinner will be served all evening. The restaurant's standard dinner menu will be served (no prix-fixed dinner). Entrées include: Porterhouse for two, veal chop and Chilean sea bass. Party favors and a champagne toast will be provided for customers who stay until midnight. The restaurant is close to Hartsdale.

White Plains. Black Bear Saloon and Wicked Wolf Tavern. Black Bear: 914-422-3270 and www.blackbearwp.com. Wicked Wolf: 914-428-3144 and www.wickedwolf.com. Open bar from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Complimentary buffet and midnight champagne toast. Advance tickets can be purchased via Internet. Tickets cost $50 per person. Check on availability.

White Plains. The Brazen Fox. 914-358-5911. www.thebrazenfox.com. Five-hour open bar service from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Appetizers and snacks served from 9 to 11 p.m. Party favors provided. DJ music. Champagne toast at midnight. Participants must be 21 or older. Purchase tickets in advance. Location: Party room. Cost: $75 per person.

White Plains. Elements. 914-358-4930. www.elementswhiteplains.com. The doors open at 9 p.m. Open bar and bottle service all night. Ticket cost, if purchased in advance, is $65 per person from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. or $60 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets cost $10 more if purchased at the door. Food is included. DJs mix top 40 tunes, hip hop and latin music. Party favors. Midnight champagne toast. Rooftop viewing to watch midnight ball drop.

Appetizers: sweet corn chowder with champagne soup, grilled chicken skewers, and roasted beet salad with goat cheese. Entrées: dorade, Cornish hen a l”orange, roasted rack of lamb with raspberry chipotle cognac sauce. Dessert: pastries and Crème Brûlée. From 5 p.m. to midnight. Prix-fixe cost: $65 per person.
