Late autumn hydrangea

A familiar blossom amid fall hues.

I've photographed this plant—and, I believe, this very blossom—several times over the past few months. It resides in the lovely vest pocket part beside the Irvington Historical Society which I mentioned in a recent post.

Autumn has been kind to it.
