Ben’s Deli FINALLY picked up their building permit today to construct their new deli on Central Ave to replace Spiga. I’m excited. They first announced plans to open up a deli over a year ago. But, there were some construction related delays. Ben’s Deli will be a big asset to the community and to Central Ave. 21.8 million is owed to the town in tax liens. At last nights Town Board meeting the Board approved a tax interest amnesty for those who owe back taxes if the taxes are paid in full by December 30,2013. We have two goals: We need to collect the tax arrears owed to us. And…we want to help property owners AVOID foreclosure.
