Just left the annual Lady of Pompeii Church spaghetti dinner in Dobbs Ferry. The dinner is held the last Sunday in October. If there would be an international competition for the best pasta in the world - I'm sure that the spaghetti cooked by the dedicated congregants would make it to the finals -good chance they would win the competition. One doesn't have to be Jewish to love Rye bread. And, one doesn't have to be a member of the catholic church to appreciate delicious spaghetti! This dinner represents the best of what a small town has to offer - great food, great people organizing the event, a nice group of attendees.
