Marching Cobras Make Lasting Impression at St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Marching Cobras of New York, a marching band that is made up of students from New York City and Westchester, including students from St. Christopher's in Dobbs Ferry, a school that helps teens with emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities, performed at the 2014 St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City. 

The group features percussion, flags, dancers and step dancers and trains five to six days a week.

St. Christopher’s  helps teens with emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities by providing a residential program encompassing comprehensive therapeutic, social, and family services coordinated with special education schooling.

A team of more than 200 people serves more than 170 resident youths on three campuses, plus 160 day students at the Greenburgh Academy. The primary campus and home for more than 100 years is an 8-acre site in Dobbs Ferry. It encompasses the Clark Academy (middle and high school), seven residential cottages, and other facilities.
