website giving both sides of ballot questions

This Tuesday is election day. There are six ballot measures that you will be asked to vote for or against. Not sure what they are? There is an excellent website that provides both sides of the issues on all the six election ballot issues. The link is below.  The ballot measures are on the BACK of the ballot—so don’t forget to mark up both sides of the ballot when you vote on Tuesday.

A suggestion that would increase voter turnout: Let voters register to vote on election day. Currently voters must register by the middle of October.  10 states already allow for  same day voter registration. Voter turnout increases by 4-7%. As it gets closer to election day there is more media attention, more last minute contacts with candidates, more voter interest.  People who are not registered are more likely to want to cast their ballots for the candidate of their choice or against a candidate they don't like.

Democracy works better when more people vote.
