Y Dance Academy: Register for Spring Now!

Registration is now open for the Y Dance Academy Spring Term!

The Y Dance Academy Spring term runs from January 21, 2013 – June 14, 2014 for all ages from 12 months through adult, 6 days/week.

The Y Dance Academy is an open access program: we are centrally located, culturally accessible, and tuition is charged on a sliding scale according to need—because we believe that all children and adults should have the opportunity for a dance education.

Individual placement classes, regular progress reports, and faculty/student mentoring are all part of a Y Dance Academy education. Performing opportunities include the YDA Youth Ensemble, Ballet Rep, Adult Jazz Ensemble, Adult Ballet Ensemble, and Tap Workshop for intermediate/advanced dancers; as well as the annual Y Dance Festival showcasing the achievements of all students ages 5 and up.

Y Dance Academy classes are open to all: no YMCA membership is required and financial aid is available. We offer a range of enrollment options—beginning with a free placement class for each student.
