Eating in Ardsley

In this' week's edition of "Our Town-hot topics," we will cover places to eat in Ardsley. Whether you're passing thru or live locally, if you're looking for a great low-key place to eat, you don't have to go far if you live in the Rivertowns. For those that don't live locally, Ardsley might not the first place that comes to mind for most people when looking for a new place to grab a bite, but Ardsley offers many great places to dine.

As early as 6am you can grab a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee and a bagel or donut barely out of the oven, baked fresh on premises at Sunshine Bagels. If you live here and come here regularly, they will have your order ready before you even get to the register! Just one of the advantages of living in a small friendly village.

If you're more of a Starbucks or a Dunkin Donuts fan, Ardsley has both, which is something no other village in the Rivertowns can say!

For lunch, you can have anything you crave from American to Chinese to Italian and even Greek. Check out Unami, where even the name means delicious. You can enjoy a blend of Chinese and Japanese cuisine while having a business lunch or enjoying with your entire family. In the mood for a hot sandwich? You can have your pick from wide variety of foods at Stars Deli, including hot and cold sandwiches named after movie stars, such as "The Terminator," a local favorite. Definitely a great place to check out.

Pumpernickel of Ardsley is one of the local favorite dinner spots. Try their old fashioned root beer voted best by Westchester Magazine: Best of Westchester. Enjoy the burgers and their awesome sandwiches such as the Grilled Ruben Sandwich also featured in Westchester Magazine. Come in for a Saturday or Sunday brunch to try the homemade Belgian waffles, all you can eat muscles Mondays and pasta specials on Wednesdays and Sundays. There is always something for the entire family to enjoy. If Italian is what you're in the mood for, then definitely check out La Catena Italian Restaurant. Not to forget our own Bubba's Tavern and Grill, which is a long time village staple, where you can grab a refreshing beverage and great food after a long hard week with some friends. My personal favorites include Bubba Bites with "Bubba-style" sauce and the "Money Fries." Check out their menu. There are so many more great places to eat in Ardsley that are definitely worth checking out, but the above mentioned are my favorites, and may become your favorites too...
