14-Year-Old Gets Texts Telling Him to Kill Acquaintance

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 14-year-old Dobbs Ferry boy called police after an unidentified person sent him text messages telling him to kill an acquaintance.

The texter said that the acquaintance plans to kill other people including the 14-year-old. When the Dobbs Ferry resident called the number from where the text messages were coming from, the texter would only identify himself by a code name and repeated what he has said in the text messages.

Dobbs Ferry Police are still investigating this situation.
