Cops: Children's Village Student Pulled False Fire Alarm

A 16-year-old student faces a felony charge in Dobbs Ferry after the alleged crime.

A Children's Village student faces a felony criminal charge in Dobbs Ferry after two witnesses said he pulled a fire alarm the morning of August 9.

Police reported responding to Children's Village at 9:17 a.m. last Friday, where the superintendent and a social worker both reported witnessing a 16-year-old student pull the alarm after he expressed frustration that he was not allowed to go on a class trip.

The teenager was arrested and taken to Westchester County Jail. There was no bail set.

Police said he is due in Dobbs Ferry Court on August 22.
