CV Staff Bitten, Attacked with Bolt

A 22-year-old staff member of the Children’s Village reported that he was allegededly stabbed with a bolt from a trophy and bitten by 14-year-old student on Nov. 12.

Police said the two engaged in a verbal altercation around 9:30 p.m. after the staff member asked the student to put away his iPod.

The 14-year-old allegedly became angry and began tossing things before attacking the staff member, who was treated at a hospital for minior injuries to the left side of his chest.

The 14-year-old was arrested on a juvenile delinquency appearance ticket for the incident—which would be considered assualt in the second degree, a D felony, if he were charged as an adult.
