Dobbs Ferry Police: Gazebo Damage; Shattered Window

A teenager reportedly used a steel bar to shatter a window at St. Christopher's, police reported.

Here's a look at some of the recent incidents investigated by the Dobbs Ferry Police Department:

Gazebo Mischief
A Department of Public Works employee reported to police on the morning of September 4 that the Waterfront Park gazebo had been damaged sometime overnight.

Shattered Window
Police reported receiving a call from a St. Christopher's staff member at 1:16 a.m. September 6 reporting a student had broken a window. Police responded to Stearns Cottage and were told a disorderly youth had brandished a steel bar at a staff member and had hit a window, which shattered. The suspect, a 15-year-old, fled the scene before police arrived. The window is valued at $150, police said.

Vehicle Scratched
A village resident parked on Southlawn Avenue reported on September 5 that his 2013 Mini Cooper suffered a deep scratch on its passenger side sometime between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. that day.
