Dobbs Ferry Teen Arrested for Felony Charge

A 19-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident was arrested for allegedly stealing from his job at Smoothie King and was found to have a fake I.D., police said.

said that the teen allegedly failed to ring up $67 worth of merchandise and pocketed the cash on Aug. 15. When he was arrested for petty larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, police said they allegedly found a false driver's license on him.

He was subsequently charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a second degree Class D felony and was released on his own recognizance.
