Dobbs Ferry Teen Arrested Twice in One Day on Drug Charges

The 17-year-old was arrested twice in one day following investigations in Irvington and Dobbs Ferry.

An investigation involving the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force in Irvington led to a second arrest on the same day of a 17-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident.

The first arrest on the afternoon of June 25 was the result of a vehicle stop in Irvington, police reported. The teen drive was arrested alongside one of his three passengers and charged with two misdemeanor drug charges and one violation for alleged possession of marijuana.

According to Dobbs Ferry Police, the investigation came back to Dobbs Ferry that same day, and at approximately 6 p.m. that evening, the teen was arrested in his home village and charged with misdemeanor Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the Fourth Degree.

He was released on his own recognizance in Dobbs Ferry with a returnable court date.
