Found Cash Returned, Community Center Dispute

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A civilian turned in money they found in Boulanger Plaza to police headquarters on Nov. 23 around 12:45 p.m. The cash will be held by the police department for 30 days.
  • A caller reported on Nov. 23 around 1:10 p.m. that four young girls were allegedly attempting to harass another youth who was inside the James Harmon Community Center on Main Street. The girls were gone by the time police arrived.
  • An Ashley Road resident reported that a man pushing a shopping cart allegedly came onto her property after she asked him several times not to.  The man then traveled towards Kent Avenue. Police eventually found him on Rosedale Avenue and asked him to stay off private property.
