iPhone Thefts at Local Schools

This report was derived from information from the Irvington Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A 14-year-old Irvington resident reported on Jan. 3 that his iPhone 5 was stolen from backpack at Irvington High School earlier that day. The phone, which was valued at $200, was in an unsecured locker in the school’s locker room between 1 p.m. and 1:50 p.m.
  • A teacher from the Greenburgh Academy reported to Irvington police that her iPhone4S was stolen from her purse on Jan. 8. The phone, valued at $200, was in an unlocked classroom between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m.
