Police: Tarrytown Burglary Suspect Search, Paraphernalia at Columbia University

  • The Irvington Police Department assisted Tarrytown police on Aug. 21 around 12:17 p.m. with its search for a suspect who was caught while allegedly trying to burglarize a home on Benedict Avenue in Tarrytown. Tarrytown Police, with the help of Westchester County SWAT team and dogs, apprehended suspect Nathaniel K. Greenhill, 54, of Saratoga Avenue in Yonkers in front of the Chase Bank on South Broadway.   • A W. Clinton Avenue came across drug paraphernalia while walked through Columbia University's property on Aug. 22. She brought the marijuana pipe and other marijuana smoke instruments to the Irvington Police Department around 11:26 a.m.
  • A resident of N. Buckhout Road report that someone scratched the side of her 2010 Lexus while it was parked on Bridge Street between 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 22.
